Our Mission
We believe every individual, despite race, class, or any other denominational factor deserves equal access to healthcare. Here, at Medical Aid to You, we strive to honor that commitment by providing first aid kits and other health resources to disenfranchised communities across the world.
Meet Our Team
Kennedy is the President and Founder of Medical Aid to You. She founded this non profit organization at the beginning of her junior year in high school, as she wanted to combine her love of community service with her other passion, medicine. In 2023, she single-handedly led Medical Aid to You to fundraise and organize over five hundred first aid kits, which she was able to distribute in the spring of 2024 to her local community of Guadalupe. Since then, Kennedy has amassed a team of over one hundred members with the same passion for aiding the community with medical supplies. Recently, Kennedy organized a partnership with Street Medicine Phoenix to create first aid kits for the unhoused population of Downtown Phoenix, and she plans to expand her outreach into Mexico City later this spring. A fun fact about Kennedy is that she prefers the East Coast to the West Coast!
Kailee is the Director of Business and Legal Affairs. In her position, she oversees the finances of the non-profit organization and approves decisions regarding expenditures alongside Kennedy. Furthermore, Kailee also handles our legal affairs; including developing strategies and documentation with our partners and counseling on issues related to legislation, like analysis of agreements and verification. A fun fact about Kailee, she plays guitar and writes music.
Kailynn is the most recent addition to the Medical Aid to You Team, but her role has proved to be invaluable. She serves as the Executive Media Director, in which she works alongside Kennedy to design and control all publicity, such as our website, social media, and flyers. In addition, Kailynn is responsible for acquiring as much recognition and visibility for the non profit organization as possible; whether it be MATCH or incentivized donations, Kailynn is always formulating a new strategy to increase our outreach. A fun fact about Kailynn is that she loves to fish!
Our Work
Our most notable previous work includes our partnership with Mayor Molina of Guadalupe. The community of Guadalupe was left devastated after the COVID-19 pandemic. Through analysis, Mayor Molina and Kennedy determined that most of the community members lacked basic medical supplies, such as gauze or bandages. Kennedy fundraised and organized over 500 first aid kits to distribute in the spring of 024, which allowed her to touch the lives of over 1,000 families. As an extension of the non-profit, Kennedy and her team began assisting and tutoring students in credit recovery and in the college application process. In total, the team aided hundreds of students, who are now on track to graduate on time and begin the pursuit of higher education.
